Jupiter’s Smile

Welcome Home!
I see you have my goodies
Off you left with them
Many years ago

image

Anger and sadness kept me
Years of toiling dispair
But now, here you are!
Though I shall not trust
No~not evermore.

For’ changes you’ve escaped
Even deadly Saturn
Lessons you’ll not bring
Just prosperity
That matters

There are many wonders above us
And you’re only one
And I watch with awe
As God reveals his only begotten son.

Virgo holds the child
The lion presented him
The scales of balance is his goal
The fishers lead men

So on a wondrous starry night
When Jupiter flirts with you
Smile playing her games of wealth
Nod as she steals you blue

Because the father of all watches
And Jupiter’s His child
Beware Saturn escapes with your loot
She must not escape with your soul.

Many years ago

Anger and sadness kept me

Slipping past Saturn

Shhh…. please listen. For real.

Please hear me
Please listen.

Once again,
I acutely know
That people who have the ability to hear with their ears
Are at a deficit to those of us who dont hear

This reasons are amazing to me a deaf person
Because we hear with eveything else
We become in tune with the non audible
Because we have to

Deaf people make excellent detectives without any conversations
Deaf people make superior artists
Deaf people feel vibrations understanding music better than hearers
Deaf people maybe introspective
Deaf people watch and are seers
Deaf people have deep understanding without any sounds
Deaf people hear Gods voice inside loudly vibrating
Deaf people understand you by observation

Shh… Listen….. Really hear. Be quiet and watch. Smiling as you observe camouflages your observations. They will never know.

Happy listening.

The Elderly Woman

I nursed an elderly women,
who truly… nursed me.
Her eyes shown love
and, oh so blue,
as, a Heavenly sea.
Her frail body, and a failing heart, though, declared Earthly weak,

This heart shall not be stopped. So…

Shout it out to hell!
And may it be well known!

This frail little lady is a warrior, a soldier, and a saint…
And I’m certain the devil heavily moans.

So, tending to her physical needs
she, really, attended me.
Her vital signs taken
and comfort was met.
Then…unfortunate for me…

I stood to say goodbye, “Sweet one,”
The time has come to leave.
But, before departing, whispered,”May I hold you child

and bless you as you have done to me?”

Then a tear shared between,
And hating going from her
but the day moving forward and simply…
There are others I had to see

However, knowing…God touched my soul
on a busy day
even a day at work

A reminder; magnificent! And only I knew so …

That, an elderly women so frail
but, ever so strong in her soul
gave a gift of love, of our savior
and advice to “always be strong.”

And, her prayer for me greater
then my job which had to be done

So…Slowly driving away…I knew, …
My God had touched me greatly today
And perhaps, the elderly women
was the gift of His love and ye
Be delivered by an angel
A message For me!

To…”always be strong…and always pray”
For angels come as elderly women
even on an average day

In Summer I Bid You Goodbye. 2012

The Summer Goodbye
June 2012
by Bonnie Bonnie Jennings

Though sweltering from Southern heat,
Elysia and I sipped green tea from her Great Grandmother’s china tea cups
all on a sweltering humid summer afternoon.
The floppy bonnets, flowered dresses and pink hand gloves resembled tea time at Avonlee.
Sweet poetry, we read aloud, sharing thoughts on Anne of Green Gables.
Agreeing, that distant delicate treasured moments of childhood should not to be forgotten or tampered with.

Awe… The freshly cut grass…oh, I shed a tear for that day when life seemed innocent and so gay (happy).
From the front porch while gently rocking and nodding pleasantly, and in trochaic tetrameter rhythm
Little Hiawatha was read and Little Jacob listened.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow rocked in the chair next to us.
He just smiled and listened about the poetic story of the child Indian.
Oh…but wait..
There is another poem to be read!

“That was the hour of splendor in the grass of glory in the flower but I will grieve not rather find strength in what remains behind.”
My favorite!

Splendour in the Grass

What though the radiancewhich was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass,
of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not,
rather findStrength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death,
In years that bring the philosophic mind.

Belindas’ and The Pirate Boondogglers

Belindas’ and The Pirate Boondogglers

By Bonnie Jennings

Sister time encourages dreams of men
Storybook princess’s read mystic tunes, if had~

The look of vile in their eye
glared, “HE’S no good gal,” so, best, don’t buy!

The whiskey breath and brawny yawned
Long whiskers, coarse that scathed

No manners had the pirate hog
Tobacco, he chewed like a dog

Breathing on her tender cheek,
delicate princess draped in pink

Course whiskers brushed her fare skin
as he tickled and roughly chinned

The femme, stansed strong
as the pirate spewed spit

Slapping his face
caused him to pinch her ~ t_t

The captain approached grabbing the stew
Picking him up and into the pot he flew!

“Boil em in oil!” The women shouted.
No one cares; No one pouted.

“Oh you mustn’t kill him!” One sister pleads.
“I’ll Negotiate for his feeble needs.”

Then, take him away! Jail’ em!
Lest he die ~ and we squeeze em.’

Closing the story of pirates and ladies
Giggling fantastic captured maiden fables

So, the two sisters picked up the lyra and played
A wonderful mystic tune singing like whales

One verse of two sister ‘want to be’s’
The other of nuzzling pirate trilogies

The bridge rang of beer and Jack Sparrow whiskers
The chorus of adventuring soul sisters

All in the eve of an autumn,
Two princesses
Found pirate encounters.                                                                                                                                                                  Twisting the story to their delights                                                                                                                                               Snuggling the rascals and pretending it night                                                                                                                                        Left after laughing and feeling fright                                                                                                                                               Closing the story before it might

Tales could capture them leaving damsels in distress                                                                                                                                               Thus realizing, fantasies created might cause a big mess.

So, The Storybook Princesses closed the book on their men.                                                                                                        And that was the end that autumn afternoon of two sisters dreaming of seduction and sin.

Madonna Gently Weeping

image

Madonna,  you stand there. Lost and forlorn.

Frightened again. The Forest of Fears gnawing

eating, biting your soul.

It tries sucking life from you.

Remember the laws

It consumes only the willing.

Foreboding and Trembling it’s children.

The playground bullies

But, you Madonna hold magic

With your spoken words

Manifesting freedoms from Fear

Calling on the God of the World.

Reminding God above

That no weapon formed against you will prosper

No earthly king will win.

Triumphant over bad company you will be

So simple is faith for war

Forgettable are weapons of warfare

But, Fear gained access to our mind

Grabbing strong the reigns again

Taking charge as planned

Making your horses follow your intended path

Thanking the Lord above

Place guilt and accusations behind

Wearing the crown of forgiveness instead

For HE has the way for all men

We pocess belief for the day.
