Please Don’t Kill The Butterfly
And,
Please, don’t kill the snake
In your phallic development that you hate
Please, don’t kill the sparrow
In your jealousy, you use a bow and arrow
Please, don’t kill a tiger
There lies your destitute fiber
Please, don’t kill the Butterfly
Or jar it on your shelf,
Trapped, their beautiful lives ~ by human waste
Why must humans kill, an innocent life?
Just because they fear
Its innocent, yet significant wildlife ~
Perhaps, there’s a chord of strife?
Putting them on your mantles
Or showing off the magnificence
By taking their gifts, with thundering human knives
Please Don’t Kill The Butterfly
