Autumn Poetry 2017

The season of summer held fast to autumn

The maiden demurely whispered

“Summer, it is another temper.”

The weather blew chilly cold wind

The warmth and flowers withered resting

Thus preparing for frosty dramatic moments

A stage appeared having yellows and oranges

The Moon hung during daylight hours

The stars glistened magnificently in thin atmospheric conditions

And all was well on Earth and also for its cousins
