There is a road we choose to take
There are several before us
The one we choose becomes our fate
The others we could have meandered
You may say hello.
I promise, I won’t bite.
And your company is appreciated.
I’m so glad, that you stopped by.
Now, grab that chair, over there.
And, bring the rocker closer.
With our legs tucked up under us,
We shall reflect distant moments.
Perhaps, we’ll laugh and cry, side by side,
In an ambience of endearing affections,
Then ~ surround ourselves in amber introspections
Conquering the world that’s up in arms
Reciting our poems in peaceful harmony
Because veracities are written in poetry
When speaking our prose in verse,
And, using our bold or whispering theatrical voices.
We’ll drink a cup of Sarsaparilla Tea in china cups
And taste wines in a silver goblets.
The fire will be blazing in the winter
And the stars we’ll observe by summer,
We are drawn to imaginative journaling
Although, probably absurd, to others
But we don’t care ~ ♥

So, thank you for visiting.
I’m thrilled that you’ve ventured here.
And, I hope you will stay awhile and finish up your beer.
Cold, cold, cold the morning; cold.
Coffee warms my hands.
Unraveling memories; seeming dull
Still night dreams, do unfold.
Whispering…
Low clouds covered the forest
Eyes that see not before us.
But, follow the pale path
Neath the weary feet.
See it! There! Underneath!
SHH!..silence!
Wet leaves covered the way.
Then look closely if you may.
Sprinkled sparkling faerie dust
Shimmers neath the leaves.
And, if you follow the shining lights
Those sights shall take the lead.
Following the strath of twigs and weeds …
Growing near the path
The wetness of the leafy stuff
Still bares the night time mask…
Here, there, turns and twists
Mark a path which won’t resist.
All night long seeking an end.
Running, skipping and stumbling on shin.
Searched, knocked, and sought
Only not to find
Any faerie myths…
Oh, how my heart…
Does pine.
I tired of your game,
Oh, Faerie
Running your path night long.
Then decided I,
Best to wander home.
And, vaguely remembering sanity
Since safety departed me,
Calling from the woods
It growled ferociously.
Sad and disturbed
Missed you again!
And, lowering my face,
Bares a fools return.
Hey, Look yonder!!!
There! My Mims!
To be greeted by their love!
The open arms of my kin.
My family who loves me dearly,
And they who prayed me home
That night.
Even despite myself. ,
Yes…
Even despite myself.

Thank you for visiting and please come again.
Thanks for the follow!

Bojenn, I love your art as well as your poetry and it’s expression in make-believe. And, since it is part of our cultural heritage, perhaps it is much more than make believe and we have just grown too mature for our own good, forgetting the delights of childhood. I’m glad you connected with jeanw5.me wherein I seem to need to reach beyond the accepted norm of reality, and, if I had not been deeply attracted to the unseen world of fairy tales when I was young, ten thousand years ago, I would not have been prepared for the calling of the unknown at a deeper level. Life is curious. May success and happiness, or rather, happiness and success both follow and lead you on your path.

Hello Jeanw5,
First of all, let me say thank you for taking time to comment. That means so much to me.
i do believe in an unseen world but perhaps they don’t look like fairies or faeries, but maybe larger and shadowy figures. I don’t know as lately, they haven’t been hanging out, too much. lol. But, I do miss them and I’m happier and are more talented when they’re around.
You mention, ” I would not have been prepared for the calling of the unknown at a deeper level.”
May I ask how this effects you today? This statements says you’re involved today in someway? Writer or seeker?
Again thank you for stopping into my blog. i hope you have a magical life finding what you need.
blessings to you,
Bojenn

I’m finding myself waiting for something more about faerie…then I remember all the mentions of Faerie from the 16th Century, i.e., Spenser’s Faerie Queen, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, through J.R.R. Tolkien’s Ring Series (I was an English Lit major many centuries ago). Your allusions are gentler and more suggestive, rather than being part of a focused narrative. The impact was as of the ghosts of old friends passing by.

Thanks for dropping in and commenting Jim. I hope that I didn’t disappoint your fairy quest.
My fairies kept me safe during a bad time. So all is written metaphorically.
I would love to stay in touch as there is much to learn from you as I read.
Thank you sir and please visit soon. We will have hot tea and chat if you like and talk about all your mentions which I too, love.
